The LP640: A Modern Classic V12
Introduced in 2006 the Murciélago LP640 was a major evolution of Lamborghini’s V12 supercar combining the brutal power of a 6.5 liter naturally aspirated V12 with updated styling and performance. Producing 640 hp at 8,000 rpm and 660 Nm of torque the LP640 accelerates from 0–100 km/h in just 3.4 seconds reaching a top speed of over 340 km/h. The model name “LP640” stands for Longitudinale Posteriore referencing the engine’s rear longitudinal layout.
Penned by Luc Donckerwolke the design remains one of the most dramatic in modern supercar history complete with signature scissor doors, aggressive lines and a low slung stance that exudes presence.
As one of the final V12 Lamborghinis before the more Audi influenced Aventador era, the LP640 delivers a raw, analog driving experience wrapped in unmistakable Italian styling.
This example represents a well preserved, regularly serviced LP640 Coupé - he purest and most iconic body style now benefiting from recent mechanical investment and ready for its next enthusiast owner.
