This exceptional Lamborghini Diablo GT has chassis number 66 of only 80 produced. Delivered new to Germany and later registered in Monaco.
The Diablo GT is the most extreme road-legal version of the Diablo designed with an uncompromising focus on performance.
This example is painted in Giallo Flash, a unique multi-layer color that is believed to have been chosen for only
around 20 of the 80 cars produced. The Nero leather interior features the highly sought-after racing seats enhancing the car's track-focused character.
Unlike many other Diablo GTs, this car is in exceptional cosmetic and mechanical condition with minimal stone chips and an engine bay where the carbon fiber components have retained their original gray-black tone – a clear indication of careful ownership and minimal exposure to extreme heat from hard driving.
The car was last serviced at 22,668 km by Lamborghini Copenhagen and will be delivered with a new major service and inspection, ensuring it is in top condition for its next owner. All original accessories remain, including the service book, manuals, tool kit, seat covers and an original Lamborghini car cover.
A rare factory option on this car is the rearview camera mounted on the rear wing which provides the driver with assistance when reversing through a screen in the center console that also acts as a GPS navigation system. This was one of the few factory options available for the Diablo GT along with upholstery, exterior color and seat type.
With only 80 units produced the Lamborghini Diablo GT is one of the rarest and most sought-after models in the brand's history. As these cars reach 25 years of age they are now eligible for import to the US, increasing demand and making them a highly lucrative investment opportunity.
Lamborghini introduced the Diablo GT in 1998 as the most extreme version of the Diablo. It featured an aggressive aerodynamic design, a bored-out 6.0-liter V12 engine and a stripped-down interior to maximize performance. Unlike the Diablo VT, the GT was rear-wheel drive, making it significantly more challenging to drive. Much of the bodywork was replaced with carbon fiber to reduce weight, and the car was equipped with specially designed three-piece OZ Racing wheels.
The Diablo GT was never officially sold in the US and was originally only available for the EU market.
